In the high-technology production hall with 6,500 m² of floor space at the Harzgerode site, we process around 885,000 transmission/clutch housings per year – over a 7-year project term.
We perform CNC processing in a total of 11 milling cells for Mercedes-Benz and BMW vehicles. The finished components are shipped daily by lorry to the customer’s various transmission assembly plants in Europe.
Die-cast aluminium housings are technologically highly demanding and also require very high quality standards along the entire process chain. As a specialist in the mechanical processing of complex motor, chassis and transmission components, Schlote with its Harzgerode site is in demand as a development partner and series supplier for automobile industry suppliers.
Close proximity to Trimet offers crucial advantages, including optimisation of the logistics and supply chain as well as the economical use of all resources. We continuously work with all supply chain partners on establishing and maintaining efficient processes. Success with innovative automation concepts is very important to us.
The highly modern plant with growth potential and the attractive location in the beautiful landscape of the Harz region with low housing and living costs provides an ideal basis, also for our employees.
